Arbitration Agreements
 
When Tampa Bay Water initiated their first phase of new water supply development known as System Configuration 1, Hillsborough County found that it did in fact have permitting differences with some of the proposed projects. Consequently, Hillsborough County pursued binding arbitration on three of Tampa Bay Water's projects. Arbitration agreements were used to settle Hillsborough County's outstanding differences over permitting matters associated with Tampa Bay Water's Alafia River Project, and the Brandon Urban Dispersed Wells Project. A settlement was mediated for the Tampa Bay Regional Reservoir Project and its permitting difference through binding arbitration.
