Citizens and organizations are invited to adopt-a-park for the betterment of our parks and community. Adopters agree to perform light maintenance and enhancement at least four times a year. The County stresses that participants wear safety clothing and use appropriate safety devices at all times during the activity.

Volunteers are invited to take care of a trail, or section of trail, within a County Park. Adopt-a-Trail volunteers conduct trail brushing and pruning, litter and debris removal, routine trail tread and drain clearing, and major trail problem reporting. Participants agree to participate for one year and will receive recognition from Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation for their commitment.
