I am a mother of two children who attend Head Start.  I want to thank and congratulate you on the marvelous job that you do with the LILIES program and within Head Start. I, as a mother, am so very grateful for the center that my children attend, because they have learned very much in the little time that they have been there.  The teachers and social worker and all wonderful people have been great. Thank you for the opportunity of participating in the LILIES program. It is a beautiful program and I hope that Head Start continues to create programs like LILIES, that are very beneficial to the Head Start families.

I am a mother of two children a son of 5 years old who is currently in kindergarten, and a daughter of 4 years old, student of HCC Dale Mabry head start. As a mother, I want the best education form my family, and after looking in different programs I found Head start in Hillsborough County. This is a high quality education program that involves families with wonderful caring teachers to succeed in children development.

Robert, my son, start early head start at 3 years old without knowledge of letters, numbers, etc. As soon as he started in this program he becomes more exited for learning. In addition, he had some behavior problems that encourage teacher to work with him and after trying different methods he succeed as a most intelligent child in the classroom. Actually, his current school’s principal send him to take one first grade reading class every week because he learned already how to read sentences. Becauses head start of HCC Dale Mabry foments school skills, I’m sure that he would be a successful citizen in this world. In fact, my daughter is attending to the same program learning everyday. If I can be a child again, Head Start of Hillsborough County will be my first school.
