Gail P. Williams has served as Equal Opportunity Administrator for Hillsborough County since June 1997. The Equal Opportunity Administrator coordinates programs related to the county�s human rights ordinance.

Williams has spent her career in the equal opportunity and affirmative action fields beginning as an intern for the U.S. Department of Justice. She started working for Hillsborough County in 1978 as the equal opportunity coordinator for the former Hospital and Welfare Board. She has a bachelor�s degree in political science from Bennett College in Greensboro, N.C.
