About the Deputy County Administrator
 

Wally Hill The Deputy County Administrator reports to the County Administrator and provides day-to-day internal direction and support in the Administrator's absence. Wally Hill joined Hillsborough County as the Deputy County Administrator in June 2004. Mr. Hill brings 22 years of local government experience to the county. He was previously the county administrative officer in San Bernardino County, California.

Prior to that, he was the county administrator for seven years for Yuma County, Arizona, and spent 14 years in management positions for Wake County in North Carolina. Hill has a master’s degree in public administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
